Webmaster Thomas Appleton has a BJ (Bachelor's in Journalism) from the University of Missouri, where he specialized in photojournalism. He currently lives in Manhattan, where he works in web communications for a private school. Thomas is also a professional photographer with his own freelance business.

Research Director Cynthia Appleton has an MLIS (Master's in Library and Information Sciences) and Post-Baccalaureate Certification in Archival and Records Administration from Wayne State University, Detroit. She has worked at three area colleges in numerous roles, from advisor to registrar to library director; and at the Walter Reuther Library of Urban & Labor Studies; and the Library of the Detroit Institute of Arts.
